Man of Steel earns three quarters of budget ahead of release

Superman

Even before Superman’s latest outing is scheduled to take place on June 14, 2013, the movie, Man of Steel, has already made up for nearly three-fourths of its production cost.

The film, starring British actor Henry Cavill as the superhero, has allegedly earned more through product placement than any other film in the history of cinema.

With more than 100 product placement deals, the movie has raked in GBP110 million, making up for nearly three-fourths of the production cost of GBP145 million.

In the movie, Superman faces off against ruthless outcasts from his home planet Krypton. However, adding to the twist in the movie is a more realistic force of nature: a deadly tornado.

The tornado scene can be spotted briefly in the latest trailers for the movie which is set to release tomorrow.

However, adding to the twist in the movie is a more realistic force of nature: a deadly tornado.

Even as fans are going all out to book their tickets in advance, critics are calling it one of the gloomiest Superman movies ever.

At the same time, Cavill’s Superman is being seen as a dark and is described in one word: “brooding”.

But more than that, the critics have welcomed the movie as being a “coming-of-age” story about a man who is trying to accept the fact that he is different from everyone else on the planet.

This is the story of Clark Kent. This is the story of Superman.
