Five golden rules of flirting

flirting
1. Do a reality check
The first rule is the self assessment. Give yourself points on scale of 1 to 10 as to how to you fare in looks department. You need to be absolutely honest here. Work on yourself, because the female involved isn’t going to fall for that little joke if you look even a tad bit tacky. In other words, suit up!

2. Work on comfort level
Flirting is always better done when the female is comfortable around you, which loosely translates to, she knows you are not ‘I wanna fraandship with you’ kind. Trust me, it never works. NEVER. They have had enough of that in high school. Quid pro bro is the way to go.

3. Choose carefully
Not every female you meet is going to fall for your remark. Some will be downright rude and might even try to go all Rani Lakshmibai on you. Apparently there are a lot of anonymous ‘what’s wrong lady’ kind of pseudo-brothers everywhere you would want to avoid. All standard rules of talking to women apply here.

4. Keep it simple
The whole point of flirting is keeping it simple and by simple I mean funny. I could have written funny instead of simple but that is beside the point. Conversations are easier to carry when people don’t have to solve the underlining puzzle(read jokes). Keep your super intelligent jokes for drunken conversations with guys. Some women still find ‘Charlie bit my finger’ ROFL-funnier than Rebecca Black. Period.

5. Shutting-up at the right time is an art
Ok let me rephrase this, taking a pause at the right moment is going to earn you brownie points because with females there are word meanings, between the word meanings, the not said word meanings and even the not thought word meanings and how-the-hell-did-you-miss-that meanings in a sentence. Also, it can save you from getting an unexpected dark circle around your eye.
